Crime Fiction Short Story Competition

July will see the arrival of my Crime Fiction month on this blog.  I don't want to give too much away just yet about what will be going on exactly until the big reveal on July 1st, but I will be posting some articles on writing Crime fiction so you may want to read my blog schedule on July 1st before submitting your story.

The winning story will receive a £10 Amazon Voucher, and two runner up stories will feature on my blog on 29th and 30th July to finish off the Crime Fiction month.

If you would like to submit a story then you need to follow the guidelines below:

1. The story must be 1500-2000 words long.
2. It must be your own work and not the work of others (stories are put through a plagiarism checker).
3. It must not have been published or submitted for publication.
4. Please include a short bio of what you want me to publish alongside your story.  This should include name, blog/website. and a little information about yourself.  Please feel free to include a photo of yourself. 
5. Stories should be submitted to janetcoopercw@gmail.com and should have the heading 'Crime Fiction Story 2015' in the subject heading.
6. All stories should be submitted by Wednesday 22nd July 2015, by Midnight.  
7. Winners will be announced on Wednesday 29th July 2015 by blog post. 
8. The winning story will appear in the Rambles, Rants, and Writing's very first edition of their online magazine on 1st September 2015.
